Calulations for the following:

-2x-3=2

Book states answer as -5/2. This does not seem to be correct answer.

x/10 + 1.7=-3.5

Book states answer as -52. This also does not seem to be the correct answer

Both answers appear to be correct.

-2x-3=2
-2x - 3 + 3 = 2 + 3
-2x = 5
x = -5/2
