What about mercury (liquid) dissoved in silver (solid)? This is a common amalgam. It in prior years was the staple of dentist's offices for fillings.

Shannon--You should post a separate post of your own by going to the top of the page, clicking on Post a New Question, and submit that way. As it is, your question is piggy backed onto the response from another question and usually these get lost in the shuffle and you don't get an answer.
