Hi, I am currently taking AP US History and we I have never been a history buff so I am illiterate when it comes to any type of history. I was given this statement to write about but I have no idea what it is talking about or asking me to talk about please help!!! Here is the statement: "One of the ironies of World War I was that in a war 'to make the world safe for democracy,' the government attacked the civil liberties that make democracy possible."
