Could anyone help me write a system of equations with this? Thanks
- A theater group sold a total of 440 tickets for $3940. Each regular ticket costs $5, each premium ticket costs $15, and each elite ticket cost $25. The number of regular tickets was three times the number of premium and elite tickets combine.
- This is what I got for the 3 equations but it wrong.
x+y+z=440
5x+15y+25z=3940
3x=y+z

Almost got it, but you misread the last line:
x = 3(y+z)
x = 3(y+z)
