A piece of plywood is cut into strips 2 1/2 inches wide. How many strips of this width can be cut? HELP!!!

If we assume an 8' x 4' sheet of plywood, and use a very thin saw blade, if we cut the strips along the length, then the 4' width is 48".
48/2.5 = 19 strips, with a .5" strip left over.
