what is 'powers of ten'?

not the movie.
what i mean is that it has to do with scientific notation, 10 squared, reciprocals, and exponenets. soemthing like that

Powers of ten, sometimes called orders, or factor of ten, is
1o^0 = 1
10^1 = 10
10^2 = 100
10^3 = 1000
