time to ground:
h=vi*t+1/2 g t^2
1.2=2.4*sin30*t+4.9t^2
put this in quadratic form, and solve for t using the quadratic equation.
horizonal distance= 2.4cos30*t

h=vi*t+1/2 g t^2
1.2=2.4*sin30*t+4.9t^2
