A man is driving his car ata velocity of 100km/h on a straight road. H e sees a traffic jam at a distance and slows down to 12.5m/s in 3.0s. What is the average acceleration of the car? pls help.
I know that the formula for average acceleration is V2-V1 divided by T2-T1 but the question only gives one time. so am confused.
pls help.

The time is takes to slow down is T2 - T1. That is given as 3.0s.
