A cannon ball is shot from a cannon with a horizontal velocity of 200m/s. What is the time until impact on a target 50m downrange? What is the objects horizontal velocity at impact (ignoring air resistance)?

The horizontal velocity component does not change.
You need to specify the elevation angle, above the horizon, of the shot. If it is shot horizontally from the ground, it rolls to the target. Not good.
