What digit could be in the ten millions place of a number that is less that 55,000,000 but greater that 25,000,000? Don't tell me the answer, just tell me how to do it, and what to do also. :D

I understand now, thanks. But I don't get how you could have THREE different answers. I know 4(45,000,000) and 3 (35,000,000) are possible answers. But what is the last one?

I misinterpreted the question, I assumed that the one-million place could be changed.
But if we only change the ten-million place, then you're right. The answers are either 3 or 4.
