6. The difference between the speed of sound in air at 0 degrees Celsius and the speed of sound in air at 20 degrees Celsius is that
A. Cooler air molecules move more slowly and respond less readily to the energy of a sound wave
B. Cooler air molecules move more quickly and respond less readily to the energy of a sound wave
C. Coolermolecules do not move and respond less readily to the energy of a sound wave
D. Cooler air molecules move morerandomly respond less readily to the energy of a sound wave

the speed of molecules in a gas , on the average, is a measure of temperature. Temp goes up, then avg speed has increased, and vice versa.
so it would be B? Bc the molecules are movingmore quickly? But it also says in answer choice B, "respond less readily to the energy of a sound wave" so it would be moving quicker but it would be slower? Im confused.
