At a party, if 1/3 of one sheet cake and 1/6 of another sheet cake remain uneaten, what fraction of a whole sheet remains uneaten .

3/3 - 1/3 = 2/3 of one cake

6/6 - 1/6 = 5/6

4/6 + 5/6 = 9/6 = 1 4/6 = 1 1/2 of the cakes
