In ∆ADC
AD^2 + 8^2 = 12^2
AD^2 = 80
in ∆ABD
BD^2 + AD^2 = AB^2
36 + 80 = AB^2
AB = √116 or 2√29
AD^2 + 8^2 = 12^2
AD^2 = 80
in ∆ABD
BD^2 + AD^2 = AB^2
36 + 80 = AB^2
AB = √116 or 2√29
