Can you help? Is the Arctic Circle north or south of the Tropic of Capricorn? My Mom says it can be north or south of the Tropic of Capricorn because the earth is round. My answer is the Arctic Circle is north of the Tropic of Capricorn. WHO is RIGHT, Me or my Mom?

Score one for Reed! :-)
If you were to travel from the South Pole to the North Pole, you'd be going north. Even if you headed south from the Tropic of Capricorn, you'd still have to go north from the South Pole to reach the Arctic Circle.
