Solve the logarithmic equation.

log2(4x)-log2(x+3)=1

log<sub>2</sub>(4x - log<sub>2</sub>(x+3) = 1
log<sub>2</sub>(4x/(x+3)) = 1
4x/(x+3) = 2^1 = 2
4x = 2x+6
2x = 6
x = 3
