a dollar bill has an area of 15.86 square inches. If a dollar bill is 2.6 inches long, how wide is it?

Also, please explain how you got the answer because i am very confused.

A = L * W
15.86 = 2.6 * W
15.86/2.6 = W
6.1 = W
