Please help -

9/x-5-1=8/x+5
(x+5)(x-5)9/x-5-1(x+5)(x-5)=(x+5)(x-5)8/x+5
9(x+5)=8(x-5)
9x+45=8x-40

And I'm not sure where to go from here.

If possible could you separate fractions with commas, i.e.

(9/x)-5-1=(8/x)+5

or is it 9 over x-5-1 and so on and so forth.

Sorry. The problem should read 9 over x-5 -1 = 8 over x+5
