It is much better if you receive personal advice face-to-face from an adult you trust like a parent, other relatives, teacher or counselor.
These people are more likely to be aware of your background information. In addition, in a face-to-face situation, they will be able to immediately ask you questions to elaborate and clarify your statements. You will also be able to immediately ask new questions that might arise.
However, if you have general informational questions that might help you make decisions, we could possible help (if you state them in specific terms) even if they are not part of your homework.
