can someone help me write a sentence that says "I hope that he......."

When you begin with "I hope that he...." you are required to use the Subjunctive. For example:
I hope that he studies = J'espère qu'il étudie
(with a regular verb you won't see the difference) BUT "I hope he'll write to me." = J'espère qu'il m'écrive. (With an irregular verb you WILL see the difference!)
