Question
How do you solve linear equations like -4x-5y-5 and or -5y-25=-x
Answers

It depends on what you mean by "solve". Do you mean solve for y?
The first is not an equation, there is no equal sign.
The second
add 5y to each side
-25=-x+5y
add x to each side
5y=x-25
divide each side by 5
y= x/5 - 5
The first is not an equation, there is no equal sign.
The second
add 5y to each side
-25=-x+5y
add x to each side
5y=x-25
divide each side by 5
y= x/5 - 5
