You need the density of the liquid, p in g cm^-3.
volume=mass/density
=1000 g/ p
cross section of cylinder = c in cm^2
volume of cylinder of liquid = cross section x h = c x 8
so 8c=1000/p
once you know p you can find c.
one kilogram is poured into a cylandrical vase and fills it to a depth of 8 cm. find the cross section of the cylander.
how do i do this?
