Question

Find DE if matrix D= Row 1= -2,4,6 and ROW 2= 5,-7,1 and matrix E= Row 1= 1,-2
Row 2= 0,-4, and Row 3= -3,4

WORK: [(-2)(1)+(4)(0)+(6)(-3)]=-20
[(-2)(-2)+(4)(4)+(6)(4)]=44
[(5)(1)+(-7)(0)+(1)(-3)]=2
[(5)(-2)+(-7)(4)+(1)(4)]=-34

The answers to choose from are:

A) Row 1= -20, 44 and Row 2= 8, -42

B) Row 1= -20, 8 and Row 2= 44, -42

I don't know where I am going wrong. Hopefully you can spot my error!!

Thanks.
