break up the intialvelocity vector in to vertical and horizonal components.
Using the vertical, solve for the time in air.
hfinal=hinitial+Viv*time-1/2 g time^2
solve for time
Then,having time,
horizontaldistance= initialhorizontalveloicyt*time
