9 / (3/4) = (9/1) * (4/3) = 36/3 = ?

Answered by Damon
(3/4) yard * number of yards = number of puppets

(3/4) * 9 = n

n = 27/4 = 6 3/4

since it is not helpful to make 3/4 of a puppet, 6 is all you will get.

(3/4) yard * number of puppets = yards

(3/4) n = 9

n = 36/3 = 12
