THANK YOU!

Solve by substitution
3x+6y=6;
-6x+y=40

My WORK: Y=40+6X;

3X+6(40+6X)=6; 3X+240+36X=6;

x=-5.51;

y=40+6(-5.51); y=40+-33.06;

y=6.94
(-5.51,6.94)

OK, I will try this. Please let me know.

x = 6.

y=40+6(-6); 40+-36 = 4; (6,4)?
