multiply both sides by 6 to eliminate fractions
-2(-4+3x) = 3
8 - 6x = 3
-6x = -5
x = -5/-6 = 5/6
check:
Left side = (-1/3)(-4 + 15/6)
=(-1/3)(-9/6) = -9/18 = -1/2 = right side
-2(-4+3x) = 3
8 - 6x = 3
-6x = -5
x = -5/-6 = 5/6
check:
Left side = (-1/3)(-4 + 15/6)
=(-1/3)(-9/6) = -9/18 = -1/2 = right side
