I already had this checked earlier but now I am thinking it is I because you could say I am impressed but you couldn't say Me is impressed.

    Using <i>me</i> is correct. It's a direct object and, therefore, can never be <i>I</i>, which is the form used for subjects and predicate nominatives.
You wouldn't say "courage should impress I" -- would you?
