how would you solve this equation? please help!


(x/2)LOG 7 = LOG 5 - xLOG 5

multiply by 2
xlog7 = 2log5 - 2xlog5
xlog7 + 2xlog5) = 2log5
x(log7 - 2log5) = 2log5
x = 2log5/(log7-2log5)
= ... you do the button-pushing
