Do beams of charged particles contain isotopes ?

There is no particular reason that a beam of ions of a particular element should not contain nucleii with different atomic masses (number of neutrons). In fact such a beam passed through a magnetic field would separate the isotopes into separate beams, thereby allowing you to tell how much of the beam was which isotope.
