                A model of an airplane is 8 inches long. If the actual airplane is 32 feet: What is the scale factor?

    First find the number of inches in 32 feet.  (Hint:  there are 12 inches in a foot.)
Next, set up a fraction with the number of inces in the model as the numerator and the number of inches in the actual plane in the denominator.
What is that fraction? Then reduce it to its lowest terms.
