How would you solve 12/1+2e^x=6 ?

the e^x confuses me. someone please help.

1 answer

12/1 = 12

12 + 2e^x = 6

Subtract 12 from both sides.

2e^x = -6

e^x = -3

With two unknowns, that is as far as I can take it.
