At 3 pm a plane left the airport for LA traveling at 600 mph. At 3:30, another plane left the same airport on the same route traveling 650 mph. What time did the 2nd plane overtake the first.

9:30 - 3:00 = 6:30 or 6.5

6.5 * 600 = 3900miles
9:30 -3:30 = 6:00 or 6
