First you distribute the four. So it will be four x minus four is greater than sixteen. Then you add four to both sides which will then be twenty and it will cancel out the other four the one without the variable because you ean to get x by itself. and will be four x is greater than twenty. Then you divide each side by four and you have x is greater than five.
