Question

Im writing a paper on Van Gogh's cypress tree painting. I have a lot of information but is still not long enough. I was wondering if anybody knows any information that I can include. I have read that cypress trees are associated with fire, mist and sea-how can I relate this to my thesis that the painting is conveying Van Gogh's psychological torment? trees in his painting are cut off at the top and carried into infinity?-relate to thesis?
