The equation for synthesis of the poisonous gas COCl2 is
CO(g) + Cl2(g)COCl2
If 43.2 kJ of energy is evolved when 39.5 g of COCl2 is synthesized, what is the molar enthalpy for this synthesis?

YOu have to figure the molar mass of COCl2
then
molarenthalpy=43.2Kj* 39.2/molmass
then
molarenthalpy=43.2Kj* 39.2/molmass

43.2/39.2*98.91=108.2
