Have women today been more involved in politics than before? Why or why not?

Absolutely yes. Women are political leadersin many countries. In the U.S., women have only been able to vote for less than 100 years. Until after World War II, women were supposed to stay home, raise children, and keep house. For the last 50 years or so, women have been encouraged to have careers and to get actively involved in politics.
