Also cars wouldn't have to stay parked near their owners. Parking lots could be used in other ways. And because cars that don't make mistakes can drive closer together, the government could build narrower, cheaper roads. The plusses don't end there. Driverless cars would provide greater freedom for people who are blind or physically disabled. They could ''drive'' themselves around!
