Describe the physical traits you have that can be observed by others. Where did these physical traits come from?

I’m in seventh grade, and here are the things people notice about me. I have curly brown hair that usually sticks up a little, and I wear it in a messy ponytail. My eyes are hazel and kind of green around the middle. I’m about 5’2”, not super tall but not short either. I wear glasses because I can’t see the board from the back of the classroom. I have a few freckles on my nose and cheeks, and dimples when I smile. I’m fairly thin and kind of athletic because I ride my bike and play soccer.

Most of these things came from my family and from stuff I do. My curly hair and freckles are like my mom’s — people always say I look like her. My dad is taller, so I think I got my height from him. My glasses are because my eyesight runs in the family; my grandma and my uncle need glasses too. The tan and slight sunburn I get in summer come from playing outside a lot. Braces came from the dentist because my teeth were crooked. So, some traits are inherited (from my parents and grandparents), and some are from my daily life and the things I do.
