When I heard that my favorite book was going to be turned into a movie, I was very excited. The Race to Fennick River by Alison Harding is a tense, high-energy thriller. It has lots of character development and a great plot.
Sadly, the movie does not keep any of the features that make the book such an exciting read. It is painfully slow, and the plot makes very little sense. Worst of all, the characters are really boring. I came out of the movie theater wishing that I had stayed at home and read the book again instead.
It is upsetting that the writer allowed this film to be made. It does not stay true to the book at all. The filmmakers should be ashamed that they ruined such a great story.
What does the writer think about the new movie?
a
She thinks it is not as good as the book.
b
She thinks it is exciting.
c
She thinks it is better than the book.
d
She thinks it has a great plot.
