As a child I was quiet and shy, I was also always nervous. I never liked to wear shoes, especially outside. I liked to swing a lot and I liked to pick the flowers my mother grew even though she always scolded me after. I also liked to go sledding and play in snow. I was adopted but very close to my family. Especially my dad. I have three brothers and a sister but they're all adults so I didn't grow up with them. My moms oldest son's daughter is older than me by six years

De niña era callada y tímida; además, siempre estaba nerviosa. Nunca me gustaba usar zapatos, sobre todo cuando jugaba afuera. Me encantaba columpiarme y jugaba mucho en el columpio; también me gustaba deslizarme en el trineo y jugar en la nieve.

Recogía las flores que mi mamá cultivaba, aunque ella siempre me regañaba después; a mi mamá le gustaban esas flores. Íbamos al parque con frecuencia y yo jugaba sola pero feliz. Fui adoptada, pero era muy unida a mi familia, especialmente a mi papá. Tengo tres hermanos y una hermana, pero eran ya adultos, así que no crecí con ellos. La hija del hijo mayor de mi mamá tiene seis años más que yo.

Translation:

As a child I was quiet and shy; besides, I was always nervous. I never liked to wear shoes, especially when I played outside. I loved to swing and I played a lot on the swing; I also liked to go sledding and play in the snow.

I used to pick the flowers my mom grew, although she always scolded me afterward; my mom liked those flowers. We used to go to the park often and I played alone but happy. I was adopted, but I was very close to my family, especially my dad. I have three brothers and a sister, but they were already adults, so I didn't grow up with them. My mom’s oldest son’s daughter is six years older than me.
