How to solve once you have the amounts:
1. Add the amounts in the 7 containers to get the total stain T.
2. Divide by 7. Each container will have T/7.

Example: if the seven amounts were 1/2, 3/4, 1/4, 5/8, 3/8, 1/2, 1/4 then
- Total T = 1/2+3/4+1/4+5/8+3/8+1/2+1/4 = 3 1/4 = 13/4
- Each container would have (13/4) ÷ 7 = 13/28
