In Science, we have to make pamphlet about Earthquakes by answering questions from a textbook. One question is. "What are the ffects associated with earthquakes?" I do not understand this question. Could I get some help what they are asking? Or give me advice what they are talking about?

The question seems to be asking about what happens after the actual earthquake. One of the effects of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake was that gas mains broke, resulting in huge fires that just about destroyed the city. An effect of the 1989 earthquake in the same area was the destruction of a bridge over the Bay that resulted in many deaths as cars plunged into the water.
