an insecticide originally contained 1/2 oz of pyrethrins. the new formula contains 5/8 oz of pyrethrins. what percent of pyrethrins of the original formula does the new formula contain?

(1/2)/(5/8), change to percent. I think this is how you do it, hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Just a heads up that I'm not 100% positive on this one.

The new fromula contains more than the old formula.
100 * (5/8) / (1/2) = 1000/8 = 125%
