Watching my leadership style shift from telling others what to do to listening, empowering, and facilitating has taught me that influence grows when people feel heard and trusted. In group projects at school I used to take charge by assigning tasks, but when I started asking for input and sharing responsibility, team morale and creativity improved. That change also helped me handle conflict more calmly and focus on strengths rather than weaknesses. I now aim to lead by enabling others, knowing the group succeeds together.
