Is CaCl2 a solid or is it soluble? I know Ca is is insoluble...

It is a solid and is soluble.
It is much like table salt.

Ca is NOT insoluble. In fact, it reacts with water to produce H2 + Ca(OH)2.

If that is acetic acid, it is soluble.
