14 is wrong the answer is 16 because you multiply 6*3 then 5*6 then 6*6 then 6*2 and you get 96 then you do 96/6 and you get 14.

3x+5x-6x+2x/x = 18 + 30 - 36 + 2 = 14

However, if you have parentheses, do you mean this?

(3x+5x-6x+2x)/x = (18 + 30 -36 + 12)/6 = 24/6 = 4

First, you have to include the above terms in parentheses (as I did) to indicate that they are all divided by x. Second, you have to <B>subtract</B> the 36.
