Question

If "te (verb)" is in the present tense how would I change this to the preterite tense ?

Would I leave it as " te (verb)" and only change the verb to a preterite

would this be the same for "lo (verb)"?

Please give me an example of what you mean. "Te" is NOT a verb. It could be a Reflexive pronoun, a direct object pronoun or an indirect object pronoun.

Without examples of what you are doing, sorry but your posts are not understandable.
