1 & 2 are perfect. #3 already has the article in "los" so you can only pick F. (a los EE.UU.)

#5. If you reword the English = from the friend of... you will see what is missing. The answer is A (del = from the...)

#11. This is a possessive, or like 's, and that will be C (de Ana = of Ana or Ana's sweetheart.

#13. The table is of wood, or made out of wood. The answer is E (de)

#14. Choice A is CLASSmate but not roommate. It would have to be B (friend from/of the room) but the answer could have been better. I would have preferred A if the last word had been "cuarto" rather than "clase."

#15. The answer is E because she is short, but Ana is shorter and Paula is the shortest of all. So they are all short but of the 3 she is less short than the other 2, making her taller! (this is a VERY tricky one!)

#16. It's A = shorter than Ana. Yes, she is the shortest so therefore shorter than both of the other girls.

#18. Not E but D = taller than Paula.

#19 is E. because Paula is the shortest.
