Part 1:
Location A is in the Southern Hemisphere. Location B is also in the Southern Hemisphere. Locations C and D are in the Northern Hemisphere.

Part 2:
The Southern Hemisphere has summer in December because that is their warmest month. March is spring there as it follows the warm summer months. In the Northern Hemisphere, places have winter in June and fall in September because they are opposite of the Southern Hemisphere's seasons.
