Description

We Got Your Back is a legally registered non-governmental organization in Rwanda, founded in 2019 by a group of young people dedicated to empowering children and youth from underserved communities. The organization prioritizes the health, education, well-being, and holistic development of young individuals. By working closely with local communities, schools, like-minded NGOs, and government institutions, We Got Your Back aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment. Our mission is to empower and inspire children and youth by offering a nurturing environment, comprehensive support, and meaningful opportunities that promote their health, education, well-being, and development. The vision of We Got Your Back is to create a community where every child and youth has access to the essential skills, knowledge, resources, and opportunities to unlock and realize their full potential.
We Got Your Back NGO proposes to become an ambassador for Good Wall, a platform dedicated to fostering digital upskills and providing resources for young individuals. Our project aims to leverage Good Wall’s innovative approach to create a supportive community, ensuring that every individual is trained,mobilised, mentored,engaged and empowered.
As part of the Good Wall initiative, two ambassadors will be selected from each district across Rwanda. These ambassadors will undergo specialized training to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively engage with local communities. Their primary role will be to mobilize residents and raise awareness about the Good Wall program, ensuring its objectives are clearly understood and widely supported throughout the country.
Objectives
Raise Awareness: Increase awareness about digital skills among youth through workshops,training and community events.
Community Building: Equip young individuals with skills necessary for the job market through training and workshops Ambassador Training: Train a
group of dedicated volunteers to serve as ambassadors who can facilitate digital upskills within their communities.
